Joshua Creek to perform at Bumbleberry Theatre

Bumbleberry is excited to host Joshua Creek July 1st at 7 PM at the Bumbleberry Theatre.  With their unique band of lyrical storytelling, Americana/Country music and three part harmonies, Joshua Creek has built  a strong and loyal fan-base over the last 12 years while receiving praise from music press, radio and event organizers.

The band has released six studios albums and one live DVD with reviews often describing Jeff Hinton’s lead vocals as a cross between John Denver and James Taylor.  One DJ aptly described Joshua Creek as “like listening to a Norman Rockwell painting”

Their songs receive regional and national airplay, including the No 1 Country-Gospel hits “What Kinda Car?” and the award-winning “Live You Son.”   Other achievements include an FCMA Pearl award for “Songwriter of the Year” and placements of their songs in national television shows and indie movies.

Hinton and co-writer/bassist Quint Randle were originally signed to regional record label Covenant Communication (owned by Deseret Book), but also as the duo sought to reproduce their studio sound live, producer/lead guitarist Ron Saltmarsh and percussionist James Hillister joined the band.

The results is a striking combination of songwriting, musicianship and storytelling that has led to regular standing ovations at larger public concerts as well as smaller, unplugged, after-dinner shows for corporate and private clients. Joshua Creek has played a growing list of respected venues and events including: Abravanel Hall, Vivant Arena, Sandy Amphitheatre, The Tabernacle at Temple Square, Heber Valley Cowboy Poetry Festival, Timpanogos Storytelling Festival, SCERA Theatre, Swiss Days, Merrill Osmond’s Utah Pioneer Days, Ogden Amphitheatre, plus a list of city/county concert series and corporate clients too numerous to list.

Joshua Creek currently offers eight different albums that provide songs about life’s trials and triumphs, faith and adversity, love and heartache, and holiday music. Songs and Albums can be purchased digitally through their website. They also offer certain albums in CD format, as well as other Joshua Creek items.
